Does what I need and then some…
This is my first DSLR, and it’s doing everything I need and then some. Solid build, great grip. I bought it used from a friend who’s been a photog for many years.

A has-been camera.
I can’t believe a seller expects to get nearly nine hundred dollars for this outmoded camera, when the more modern and much better Canon 40d can be had for the same, or less…

Undocumented fact: limited CF-card capacity
Canon considers memory card capacity a deep dark secret. You can look for it, but you won’t find it. The 20D will support an 8GB CF – MAX.

First step into ‘high-end’ cameras
I bought this camera my tool for learning about digital photography. It has been very easy to use and a great learning tool.

Canon EOS 20D 8.2MP Digital SLR Camera
Even with all the new cameras out there in the market, I still love my Canon EOS 20D. Unless I accidentally drop it and break it, it is still the camera of choice for me.

Nice As Long as it Does Not Break
We purchased the Canon 20D and it broke after only 4 months. The pictures were great. The camera just stopped working one day for no apparent reason (no power).

very very over priced
why would you spend 1800+ dollars on an old 20d + an entry level lens when you can get 40d + 17-55 f2.8 is for the same amount of money.

Fantastic capabilities for the money.
The 20D in my opinion is really the beginning of the cameras in the Canon line with really good image quality inherent in the sensors.

Overwhelmed!
One day, I finally decided to upgrade from my wonderful little Olympus camera I bought several years ago. I chose the Canon EOS 20D 8.
